Hoodlum: You Measure Power In Enemies.

J.V. real name Javon Mays is an American rapper, singer, song writer who was born on March 4 1988, and raised in North St. Louis. Coming up in an environment that is known for many acts of violence, he used music as a way of escape. Unlike many other artists, J.V. sought to diversify himself from what was expected by trying to better define himself not as a rapper or singer, but as an artist. This would allow his music to stand out. Determined to succeed with the help of his outstanding management team and label (Elevated Thought Entertainment), J.V. hopes to fulfill his dream of gaining true artist recognition, reading his acceptance speech, and walking away with the title GRAMMY AWARD WINNING.
